  • Blended Strings.  This southeast Michigan music group performs a variety of upbeat, easy listening music including Old-Time, American Folk, 20’s and 30’s tunes, Country Western, a touch of Bluegrass, Gospel, Holiday and International Folk.


  • Bluegrass Festival Finder.  A great search tool for finding various types of music festivals.


  • Creole Gallery.  Art Gallery and Folk Convert Venue. 1218 Turner Street in Lansing's Old Town.


  • East River Folk Society.  Monthly "Open Mic" Musical Coffee House in Wyandotte. 2003 marked their 15th season.


  • Golden Griffon Stringtet.  An acoustic, instrumental, Square Dance and Contra Dance Band from southeast Michigan featuring the hammered dulcimer, fiddle, guitar and bass.


  • Kaiser Family Band.  An acoustic family band performing what they like to listen to: fun "fiddle tune" style music, with some waltzes, polkas, and old favorites mixed in. Features the fiddle, guitar, banjo, and hammered dulcimer,
    with back up from bass and rhythm guitar.


  • Olde Michigan Ruffwater Stringband.  Performance schedule of Music Concerts and Folk Dances performed throughout southeastern Michigan. 2003 marked their 25th Anniversary.


  • Picks N'Sticks Stringband.  A complete acoustial entertainment package. Silver Strings Dulcimer Society club members - Morgan and Sherry Humecky.


  • Ten Pound Fiddle.  Coffeehouse with Folk Music Concerts in East Lansing, MI.


  • The Ark.  Ann Arbor's best-known Folk Concert Venue.  2005 marks the 40th Anniversary of The Ark.
